The Acuity LED 1600 II printer is built to produce exceptional print results in the most environmentally friendly way, with low energy LED UV curing technology. LED lamps consume far less energy than conventional UV and last up to ten times longer so have a positive impact on the total cost of ownership.

The perfectly balanced performance of Fujifilm UV inks, Dimatix Q-class printheads and patented LED curing system produces high quality, outdoor durable images, on a wide range of roll and rigid materials, at print speeds of up to 33m2 per hour.  To improve production efficiencies and print creativity still further, the Acuity LED 1600 printer is capable of simultaneous, multi-layer, printing with white and clear inks.  For example, the colour – white – colour layers required for double-sided window graphics can be printed in one pass.

Many sign and display companies have an understandable desire to follow the printer road map from roll-fed to full flatbed, however, the initial investment involved has remained a significant obstacle for many.   The Acuity LED 1600 printer bridges this gap by offering both high production roll media printing and the opportunity to grow new revenue streams from rigid sheet printing that could ultimately finance a dedicated flatbed printer.
