CSL Digital – The business behind the name
Following many years of successful trading under the name Colorific Solutions Limited, we decided to rebrand our business CSL Digital in 2015 to better reflect our expertise in digital print technologies as well as promoting our wide range of inks, materials and accessories.
We are very proud of all that we’ve achieved under the Colorific brand, however, we felt that the time was right to build on this success and adopt a new brand identity that would acknowledge our past achievements and highlight our future ambitions. We think that CSL Digital echoes our many years of experience in the field of digital print and offers us greater bandwidth to promote our technology business, particularly as we’ve now been appointed an authorised dealer for Roland print and cut technologies.
In addition to supplying digital print products and support to companies in the sign, display and print industries, We have the technical expertise and manufacturing facilities to produce custom engineered solutions for businesses with more complex print requirements. As a result, we have been instrumental in the research, development and production of a number of ground-breaking print solutions in recent years, most notably Lightbar solvent-UV ink technology.
Working closely with Roland DG through its Partner Solutions programme, we have successfully integrated the latest solvent-UV ink chemistry with Roland print engines to launch a range of Lightbar printers and printer/cutters. Widely regarded as a more durable and cost effective alternative to printing with latex inks, Lightbar delivers bright, colour rich print that’s dry, cured and ready to use straight from the printer. With no delays for out gassing and greatly reduced requirements for protective lamination, companies equipped with Lightbar technology are able to offer same day print services and pass on significant cost savings to their customers.
We have recently relocated our UK head office and distribution centre to much larger premises in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Offering easy access to and from London and the M4 corridor, the new headquarters features an impressive print technology showroom, product training rooms and a Research & Development facility.
